Jersey City, NJ (April 26, 2006) — High schools students from the tri-state area competed for nearly $20,000 in prize money in the Guarini Center for Governmental Affairs Fifth Annual Oratorical Contest at Saint Peter’s College on April 22. Students from public and private high schools debated the topic “What American Leader Has Made the Greatest Contribution to Our Nation?”

The event, sponsored by the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, is free and open to the general public.
