Freshmen and Faculty Convocations Kick Off the Fall Semester

On August 25, 2009, Saint Peter’s College kicked off the new year with Freshmen and Faculty Convocations.  The Bene Merenti Awards, the highlight of Faculty Convocation, celebrated those community members that have served 20 years with the College.

SPC Alumni Kick Back at Reunion

Among the 28,000 members of SPC’s alumni network were members of the classes of 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004, who gathered for Reunion Weekend.

Rev. Laurence L. Cassidy, S.J., passes away at 77

Rev. Laurence L. Cassidy, S.J., 77, a long-time faculty member of Saint Peter’s College, died on Thursday, June 29 at Murray-Weigel Hall, the Jesuit Infirmary, in the Bronx, NY, after a short illness.    Fr.
