On August 25, 2009, Saint Peter’s College kicked off the new year with Freshmen and Faculty Convocations. The Bene Merenti Awards, the highlight of Faculty Convocation, celebrated those community members that have served 20 years with the College.
Among the 28,000 members of SPC’s alumni network were members of the classes of 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004, who gathered for Reunion Weekend.
For many Saint Peter’s students, the College’s partnerships with a variety of national and local philanthropic organizations play an important role in enriching their college experience and broadening their horizons.
As the United States economy falters, college students around the country are facing unplanned financial shortfalls. CBS Evening News visited Saint Peter’s to examine the hardships facing students struggling to pay their tuition.
Hearts & Minds: The Saint Peter’s College Annual Scholarship Dinner honors alumni and members of the College, and supports the scholarship fund for undergraduate students.

For those who couldn’t make it to D.C., the Department of Student Affairs planned an event so that the College community could witness this historic inauguration.
