The Impact of Annual Giving

A lot can be accomplished in a year. At Saint Peter’s University, the achievements made by our students, faculty, staff and community partners is made possible by thousands of donors who support our Jesuit mission with an annual gift.

The past 10 years have been especially remarkable as, last month, the University celebrated the 10th anniversary of the appointment of Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., as president. In his decade at the helm, Dr. Cornacchia has led Saint Peter’s to:

-Achieve University status, offering new master’s and doctoral programs, expanding academic offerings, online degrees and study abroad opportunities.
-Earn national recognition, including, in recent years, a MONEY® Magazine ranking of fifth in the nation for “Colleges That Add the Most Value” and being named eighth in the nation for upward mobility by The Equality of Opportunity Project.
-Secure a $3.8 million federal (HSI) STEM grant, the largest grant in University history.
-Assume responsibility for St. Aedan’s: The Saint Peter’s University Church and establish The Campus Kitchen.

To celebrate Dr. Cornacchia’s accomplishments, Trustee Kathleen McKenna, Esq. ’75 will match each gift made to the President’s Priority Fund before June 30 up to $50,000. Your annual gift allows the University to make a better tomorrow for students and helps us to continue educating them with the Jesuit values by which Saint Peter’s stands.

Your annual support matters, so consider making a gift by Friday, June 30. Please click here to be counted among this year’s loyal supporters. If you have any questions regarding your gift, please contact Ana Cravo, director of annual giving, at (201) 761-6104 or acravo@saintpeters.edu.
