An Evening at Amanda’s Restaurant to Support the Jesuit Mission

More than 90 alumni, faculty, administrators and friends of Saint Peter’s University gathered at Amanda’s Restaurant in Hoboken for a five course dinner with wine pairings on Monday, June 16. The evening was graciously presented by Eugene Flinn ’80 and his wife, Joyce Flinn, co-owners of Amanda’s.

All of the ticket sales from the event directly benefitted St. Aedan’s: The Saint Peter’s University Church. There was also a silent auction held during the event and all of those proceeds supported the University’s Campus Kitchens Project. A Campus Kitchen is a student-run kitchen that keeps food from being wasted and provides nutritious meals for those in need.

“Our annual event at Amanda’s continues to be a great success with an excellent turnout of alumni and friends,” said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of Saint Peter’s University. “Of course, this event would not be possible without the generosity of donors, such as Eugene and Joyce. We are very grateful for their support as well as the support of those in attendance. All of the guests had the opportunity to enjoy a nice evening out while giving back to some important University initiatives.”
