Saint Peter’s University to Host the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling Hudson County Regional College Fair

Jersey City, N.J. – February 18, 2014 – Saint Peter’s University today announced that it will host the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC) Hudson County Regional College Fair on March 11, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m in the Victor R. Yanitelli, S.J. Recreational Life Center located at 870 Montgomery Street in Jersey City, N.J. More than 75 colleges and universities will be in attendance. Saint Peter’s will also be hosting a Financial Aid Information Session during the event.

“College fairs provide a great opportunity for students and parents to explore the various higher education options available to them and to receive free guidance on financial aid, application completion and more,” said Elizabeth Sullivan, assistant vice president of enrollment and dean of undergraduate admissions at Saint Peter’s University. “We are looking forward to welcoming area students to this event to not only introduce them to the Saint Peter’s campus, but to provide valuable resources to help them make informed decisions about their future education.”

A wide-variety of higher education institutions are participating in the Hudson County Regional College Fair, ranging from public and private universities to community colleges to service academies. The institutions in attendance are located as close as Hudson County as well as out-of-state universities based in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and more.

Students and their families will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with university representatives in one location at one time in order to begin a college search, narrow college options or to make a final decision. Participating schools will present information on tuition costs, programs of study, admission requirements, campus life and more. Attendees will also have access to the Saint Peter’s University financial aid team and will learn about the various types of financial aid, the awarding process and how to file the FAFSA.
