NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw Discusses “Legendary Leadership” on Live Simulcast

Saint Peter’s University will host a Refresh Leadership Live Simulcast on Wednesday, April 17, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in The Duncan Family Sky Room in the Mac Mahon Student Center, located on Glenwood Avenue (between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Bergen Avenue) in Jersey City. Express Employment Professionals, the co-host of the event along with the University’s graduate business program, will present an exciting program of networking and learning for business leaders throughout the community. The simulcast features top-notch professionals who have proven they not only understand the principles of great leadership, they live them as well.

“Leadership is not a new topic to business or any other discipline for that matter,” said Professor Louis R. Ruvolo, M.B.A., director of Graduate Business Programs at Saint Peter’s University. “Leaders are everywhere around us, but it takes more than a title to be a leader. Leaders have vision and determination to evangelize ideas that engage people to achieve new results.”

“We know poor leadership is the number one reason why people leave companies, so we’re offering support to businesses with a focused day of learning about great leadership,” added  Deidra Viney, general manager at ExpressPros.

The simulcast will feature an all-star lineup of business professionals. Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Pro Football Hall of Fame member and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday Terry Bradshaw will discuss “Legendary Leadership,” where he will share his strategy of success through persistent self-improvement. He will challenge individuals to think in new ways about sacrifice, pain, competition and adversity, while providing specific examples of how to focus the power of dreaming, thinking and strategizing toward success.

In addition, founder of Alltop.com, best-selling author and former chief evangelist of Apple Guy Kawasaki will discuss “Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds and Actions,” a presentation that discusses how to bring about voluntary, enduring and delightful change with the goal of enabling one’s self to maneuver through difficult decisions, break entrenched habits, defy the wisdom of crowds and get colleagues to work for long-term, mutually beneficial goals; and professional speaker, author and workplace communication and performance expert Amanda Gore will speak on “Wake Up to the Spirit of Leadership: How to Engage People on a Heartbeat,” a presentation that focuses on the spirit of the workplace.

The campus community and alumni of Saint Peter’s are invited to attend to strengthen or build ties with other local businesses and network with area business leaders. There is no cost to attend this event. However, an optional donation to the Children’s Miracle Network is suggested. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., and breakfast will be provided.
