Saint Peter’s College Freshmen Class to Volunteer at
Food Bank of New Jersey on Wednesday
September 3, 2002— The freshman class at Saint Peter’s College will visit the Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside to volunteer on Wednesday, September 4 from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The volunteer effort is part of the school?s Freshman Convocation.
Saint Peter’s is the only Jesuit college in New Jersey and the Food Bank visit will provide the students with an introduction to the Jesuit mission to serve the community as “Men and Women for Others.” More than 400 students are expected to attend.
