About Professor Clayton

James Clayton, Ed.D., is a Saint Peter’s grad (’71) and has been a faculty member since 2006. Dr. Clayton was a middle and high school mathematics teacher for 15 years before serving as department chair, principal, and superintendent in public schools. Dr. Clayton has taught a variety of education courses on both the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Clayton currently serves as a faculty adjunct working with administrative interns and graduate students.
