Mac Mahon Student Center
Facilities matter. Over the last decade, Saint Peter’s University experienced its own renaissance. And, though Saint Peter's has grown to more than 3,100 students, student life facilities have not kept pace.
The new student center, which officially opened on March 18, 2013, will ensure that the University continues to attract and graduate students who meet the rising standards for admission and delivers the high expectations of a Saint Peter’s education.
Located on the east side of campus, this state-of-the-art, six-story structure is the new arrival point at Saint Peter’s University and provides a powerful first impression of the campus.
The student center embody so much of what Saint Peter’s stands for:
- A welcoming entrance integrated into the daily pulse of city life
- Green elements and energy efficiency for sustainability
- Gathering spaces to promote conversation and interaction among the entire University community
The student center will advance Saint Peter’s Jesuit mission with dedicated space for campus ministry and community service. Expanded dining facilities, space for student organizations and lounge areas for community interaction will elevate the campus experience. The Duncan Family Sky Room will serve as a dramatic backdrop for University events by providing panoramic views of the Jersey City waterfront and New York City skyline. Computer and study suites will provide a seamless environment for living and learning.
The student center, along with the five other vital priorities, will secure the future of the Jesuit University of New Jersey. Read more about the Mac Mahon Student Center here.
