If you could imagine it, Daryl Delgaizo Levy envisioned her life would one day bring her back to a place she loved. She is not only an Advancement Officer at Saint Peter’s, but also an alumna from the class of 1983. In her role as an Advancement Officer, she is responsible for fundraising, supporting donor relations, event planning, prospect research and alumni relations. Daryl believes she owes her 20 year career in finance and marketing to the initiative of the Career Development Office at Saint Peter’s. With a marketing management degree and lots of personality, she landed her first position at Goldman Sachs on Wall Street, then onto Royce & Associates as a senior marketing associate.
After spending the next dozen years raising her two lovely children, she felt it was time to commence her second career, the one she had dreamed of and hoped would come to fruition. She feels truly blessed being a member of the advancement team. Fr. Ed Heavey married her over 20 years ago and she believes he was the guiding force that brought her back. She embraces and is passionate about the Jesuit mission and is overjoyed to have reconnected with the University community.
Daryl also volunteers her time with Project Home of Cranford whose mission as a non-profit organization is to raise funds, which are distributed by Cranford Family Care, so that families can remain in the community despite difficult circumstances.
If she is not on campus she is actively involved with her children’s activities, (which are more then she cares to mention). She is an avid tennis player as is her entire family. She especially loves to travel, see Broadway shows and soak up the sun on the Jersey Shore.
