Education: The Investment of a Lifetime
Saint Peter’s University has long been recognized as a leader in urban education, shaping the hearts and minds of future educators who, with the solid training received at Saint Peter’s, will inevitably shape the fabric of their classrooms, community and society.
The founding father of the Saint Peter’s School of Education and a model of teaching excellence, Patrick J. Caulfield, Ph.D.’47, lovingly nicknamed “Doc,” wholeheartedly believed in the value of educating the mind in tandem with the soul. Dr. Caulfield dedicated his life to teaching and mentoring future educators in the Jesuit tradition. In the same vein, this cultural practice is very much alive in our classrooms today.
Your gift in support of the Caulfield School of Education is an investment of a lifetime, ensuring that the University has the resources necessary to provide our students with the best training possible so they can lead impactful careers as educators. Now, more than ever, these programs need your support to grow with the ever-changing demands of the educational landscape.
