Dr. Surrey Hosts PRIDE Retreat

David S. Surrey, Ph.D., professor of sociology and urban studies, and director of faculty development and Africana studies hosted over 50 people from Saint Peter’s University and CUNY LGBTQ groups. Faculty and administrators from universities and community members also attended the semi-annual retreat at Dr. Surrey’s house.

Celebrate Black History Month: African American Literature and Music

Throughout the month of February, The Theresa and Edward O’Toole Library is highlighting a collection of books donated by Rev. Peter O’Brien, S.J., who taught in the English department.
