Students Establish Mentoring Program at Lincoln High School

mentorsThe sociology and urban studies department’s senior seminar class established a mentoring program for freshmen at Lincoln High School this semester. Led by Professor Donal Malone, the class set off to make a difference in the community while also showcasing what students have learned throughout their time at Saint Peter’s University. Creating the mentoring program from scratch was hard work, requiring much research and weeks of preparation. But the result made it all worthwhile. The mentoring program was successful and what began as a semester-long project has evolved into a permanent after-school program. Keep on the lookout for updates on how to become a part of this growing project! Pictured are Saint Peter’s students who participated in the program.
