Political Science Professor Pens First White Paper in Guarini Institute Series

Alexander Mirescu, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, wrote the first Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership white paper titled, “Global Disaster Risk Reduction Policy and Subnational Application: An Assessment of Policy Effects of Hurricane Sandy Three Years On.” The Guarini Institute’s white paper series is designed to stimulate timely and relevant discussion around key public policy topics in New Jersey. The series will provide faculty, administration and experts outside of the University a unique opportunity to share their opinions related to critical policy issues.
