Saint Peter’s Grant Work Reported in “The Nation’s Health”
As part of National Public Health Week, students from Saint Peter’s Health and Physical Education program prepared activities for local children in this year’s Family Health Fair. The event was covered in “The Nation’s Health,” a publication by the American Public Health Association.
Students Volunteer for Read Across America
Health and Physical Education students volunteered to read books to the children at PS 17 as part of Read Across America; a great time was had by all.
Student-Run Health Fair at PS 39
Saint Peter’s Health and Physical Education students run a Health Fair at PS 39 in Jersey City. They provided games, prizes, healthy food and more. Over 400 young people and their families were served.
Students visit foster home
Health and Physical Education Students provide a healthy-cooking experience with foster children through the Horizon Healthing-along grant. A great time and delicious food was had by all!
