Members of University Community Participate in Jersey City Artists Studio Tour

On October 5 and 6, Jersey City held its 23rd Annual Jersey City Artists Studio Tour. Beatrice Mady (pictured second from left), associate professor of fine arts at Saint Peter’s University, curated a photography exhibition, “Moments in Time,” in the flagship TenMarc building. Participants were graphic arts graduates Alyssa Bredin ’12 and Sidney Montanez ’13, current student Tatiana Lopez ’14, Mady, Professor of Photography Frank Gimpaya, Academic Dean Velda Goldberg and Director of the Recreational Life Center David Bryngil. Lopez, a graphic arts minor, curated an exhibition, “Cosmic Unity,” and created a mandala – a geometric figure representing the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism – in the TenMarc building, as well.
