English Department Holds Annual Conference

jane dentingerOn March 27, the English department held a conference, titled “Mystery Fiction,” in The Duncan Family Sky Room. Keynote speaker was Jane Dentinger, the author of a series of mystery novels centered in the world of theater and featuring main character, actor and sleuth Jocelyn O’Roarke. Dr. William Luhr of the English Department discussed the detective in fiction and film, followed by Dr. Brian Royster’s lecture on the work of the real detective.
