Communications Professor Ernabel Demillo is Honored with the Contributions to Excellence Award

Filipino American History Month is almost upon us! As part of the month’s celebrations, Filipino American National Historical Society will honor Filipino American journalist and Saint Peter’s University communications professor, Ernabel Demillo, with the Contributions to Excellence Award at the Filipino American History Month Opening/Community Awards.

Ernabel Demillo is the host and producer of CUNY TV’s monthly magazine show, Asian American Life, focusing on social, economic, political and cultural issues in the Asian American community. The show premiered in 2013 and was nominated for a New York Emmy for Best Public Affairs/Community Programming. Ernabel has showcased and uplifted Filipino American stories, experiences, and narratives throughout her many years as a broadcast journalist.
