New Jersey Communication Association Conference Held at Saint Peter’s

walker and donovanOn April 11, the communication and media culture department and the graduate program in strategic communication hosted the 19th annual conference of the New Jersey Communication Association. Faculty, graduate and undergraduate students from across New Jersey and New York gathered for the event to present their research on subjects ranging from media studies and journalism to organizational, interpersonal and business communication. The keynote address was given by Dr. Douglas Rushkoff, best-selling author, documentary film-maker, media commentator and professor of media theory and digital economics at CUNY/Queens. Dr. Barna Donovan, director of the graduate program in strategic communication, was elected president of the New Jersey Communication Association during the event.
