Biology Professor Presents Paper in North Carolina

Michael E. Held, Ph.D., from the biology department recently presented a paper at the annual meeting of the Association of Southeastern Biologists, held in Concord, NC. The title of his talk was “Exceeding 100 Years in Age an Oak-Hickory Forest in East Central Mississippi Challenges Contemporary Basal Area Concepts.” The paper was co-authored with Dr. Joe E. Winstead of Southern Arkansas University.
